Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro has been released; it now contains a new level of impact with the features it offers. Adobe has included:
- Web 2.0 tagging of documents like the recent YouTube additions.
- A very simple process to include video within the document, although the highest version for the Mac called “Pro” has less video capabilities.
- The ability to make accessible PDF documents from almost any source to help comply with standards, you can automatically tag PDF documents for optimized accessibility.
- A feature to convert complete web pages, or just the portions you want, with the option of including or excluding rich and interactive media.
This is great for the online portability of documents and totally enhances previous PDF experiences. I hope this catches on and we see rich media documents popping up all over the internet. For more information please read the data sheet for the software.
