I have CMI NVQ Level 4 in management; I wanted to provide an understanding of where this qualification fits in with a Degree Level course. At the time of completing this Course a NVQ level 4 was comparable with a degree. Recently the whole structure of NVQ courses have changed as shown in the PDF below. My training was at the original NVQ Level standard, they have now created a whole new level of standards and a modern NVQ Level 4 qualification is no longer comparable, this is because the revised NVQ levels go up to 8 instead of the original 5.
