Website

Websites come in two main forms, static HTML websites and dynamic database driven websites. Static websites have a separate file which displays each page of information, content or media. A database driven website draws its information from a remote database through standardised layouts and templates. This allows for automation of content and easy updating through a Content Management System.

Website designs evolve all the time to adjust to current trends, fashions and user exuberances. The basic level of communication of a individuals or organisations message still applies. Although many websites now offer services designed to gain repeat traffic and often to generate revenue from advertising included on the site itself or through email marketing messages.
