It has become allot easier to track and report with Search Engine Marketing activity, this allows campaigns to be focused on more keywords and phrases. Previously SEO has been focused on a reaching a high rank for a small selection of key terms and phrases.
Unlike the Pay Per Click acquisition model Search Engine Marketing does not incur the same competitive keyword cost for every lead generated. There is no official training for Search Engine Marketing techniques, so constant research and development is needed to understand what is required to constantly achieve visible rankings within the Search Engines.
