I mean I came across a website the other day which is a spin off website of Facebook but for Dogs!! Facebark I believe it's called, it truly shows how facebook has taken the internet by storm and leaked into mainstream news. Very relevant post – it just shows how big Facebook is getting doesn’t it. Comment on Maximising Website Traffic with the Use of Online Marketing by John Flynn http://leeroper.com/blog/maximising-website-traffic-with-the-use-of-online-marketing/#comment-97 John Flynn Wed, 26 Nov 2008 13:53:10 +0000 http://leeroper.com/blog/maximising-website-traffic-with-the-use-of-online-marketing/#comment-97 Nice post. Thanks. Organic SEO (not using Adwords) is a long but rewarding process in getting you good SEO. I would be careful of email wrapping. Customers are very sensitive about emails. I work both in the traditional marketing and social networks. I find emailing a client once every two months is OK. Nice post. Thanks. Why not use these emails to market the senders company? You have a website. You send emails. Why not multiply your sales-staff by “wrapping” the regular email in an interactive letterhead? No other marketing or advertising medium is as targeted as an email between people that know each other (as opposed to mass emails). These emails are always read and typically kept. Comment on The History of Google by June Dean http://leeroper.com/blog/the-history-of-google/#comment-94 June Dean Thu, 13 Nov 2008 19:44:54 +0000 http://leeroper.com/blog/the-history-of-google/#comment-94 I have been so impressed by the vast range of services and help that Google offers the small business in terms of not only understanding how search engines work but also about optimising or building sites that wont break the bank. When computers first landed on peoples desks it was thought a black art and now are as common and easy to use as a telephone. The internet and e-marketing is now slowly removing its shroud and becoming far more accessible. But knowing technology as I do there will be a new black art waiting round the corner. What businesses need to do is embrace Google and the Internet as just another business tool and utilise it to its best advantage and not just because they feel they have to. Well done to Google.
